ArmInfo. About 80-100  people responded to the call of the "Freedom to the President"  initiative group, gathering on the Republic Square in the evening of  December 11 and demanding the immediate release of the second  President of Armenia Robert Kocharian.

ArmInfo. "The Armenian Court of Appeal released Robert Kocharyan from custody on August 13, as he was able to resist the pressure put on him," Hayk Alumyan, lawyer of the second RA President Robert Kocharyan, who was arrested today by the  Appeal court.

ArmInfo.Acting Minister of Justice of Armenia Artak Zeynalyan intends to notify the public of the country about the amnesty process once a week. He stated this on  October 31 at an extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly of  Armenia, which discusses the draft law on declaring an amnesty in  criminal cases in connection with the 2800th anniversary of Erebuni-  Yerevan foundation and the 100th anniversary of the independence of  the First Republic of Armenia.

The meeting discussed  issues of combating corruption, return of assets exported from the  country, transitional justice, and prospects for cooperation in this  area.
