On March 28, Deputy Minister of Defense of  Armenia, Chairman of the State Military Industry Committee David  Pakhchanyan stated this during a press conference in Yerevan  commenting on the statement of the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma  Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and relations with  compatriots Konstantin Zatulin on reducing arms supplies to  Azerbaijan after April 2016 .

ArmInfo.Deliveries of weapons to Armenia within the framework of the Russian defense loan will be completed by the end of 2017, Armenian Defense Minister Vigen  Sargsyan told journalists on October 2 at a press conference. At the same time, as the Minister pointed out, Armenia will not only continue to purchase arms, but will also develop its own military-industrial complex.

ArmInfo.Armenia negatively regards any supply of arms to Azerbaijan. Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan said this at a press conference in Yerevan on June 28, commenting on Russia's supply of modern weapons to Azerbaijan.

ArmInfo.Russia plans to supply new weapon systems, including rotaries and defense systems to CSTO countries in 2017, FSMTC Head Dmitriy Shugayev stated.  "In 2017 Russia will continue to supply defense industry production in  accordance to above mentioned agreements (agreement on cooperation in  defense area with Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan). First of all,  this is air material, particularly rotaries, anti air defense systems  and Armored Vehicle," Shugayev said, Sputnik reports. 

ArmInfo. Arms are supplied to Armenia in conformity with the interstate agreements signed, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said when commenting on the demonstration of Russian-made advanced weapons, including Iskander mobile short-range ballistic missile systems, during the military parade on occasion of the 25th independence anniversary of Armenia.

The advanced  Russian-made Iskander-M missile systems are in the inventory of the  Armenian Armed Forces and all the remarks that the systems are on the  books of the 102nd Russian military base are speculation or just  professional ignorance, Armenian political expert Sergey Minasyan has  told ArmInfo, when commenting on the Armenian media reports that part  of the military hardware to be demonstrated at the military parade in  Armenia on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day is on the books  of the 102nd Russian military base.
