The first serious direct contacts between Armenia and Japan began to form only after the devastating Spitak earthquake of 1988, when Japan extended a generous helping hand to us. And four years later, diplomatic relations were established between the current independent Armenia and Japan. ArmInfo.The European Parliament calls on the leadership of the European Union to begin negotiations with Armenia on simplifying the visa regime. This is stated in the resolution of the European Parliament, adopted on the eve of the plenary session.

ArmInfo.Armenia is going to liberalize the visa regime with India. The draft of the relevant resolution is included in the agenda of the government meeting on  November 16.

ArmInfo.Denmark will simplify the visa regime for a number of categories of Armenian citizens. On November 9, the Armenian government approved the proposal on concluding an agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Kingdom of Denmark on simplification of visa issuance.
