Tbilisi. Fanny Ardant, a French cinema celebrity, will pay a
one-day visit to Georgia, on October 24 - BLACK SEA PRESS was told in the
National Cinema Center, on Monday, October 21.
"During her one-day trip, Fanny
Ardant will conduct an actor's art master-class at Marjanishvili State Academic
Theatre, as well as will present her director's work "Obstructive
Rhythms"," the Center spokesperson reported.
During her career, Fanny Ardant has
appeared in over 60 films of different genres, gaining international
recognition for her role The Woman Next Door (directed by Francois Truffaut)
with Gerard Depardieu also starring. Ardant was Truffaut's favorite actress and
they have had personal relations till the famous filmmaker's death.
Besides, Fanny Ardant starred in the films
by Michelangelo-Antonini, Sydney Pollack, Claude Lelouch, Francois Ozon. In
2009, she had a debut as a filmmaker, shooting the "Ashes and Blood".
