Depending in the results of the negotiations for the Russian gas tariff for Armenia, the issue of payment for the lands used by the 102nd Russian military base in
Armenia may be raised. Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan made such statement Monday is response to a relevant suggestion of Zaruhi Postanjyan, MP from Heritage Party. The speaker urged the parliamentarians not to force the issue and wait for the final results of the negotiations. "I promise to make a written suggestion
to the government if necessary," the speaker said.
