"We Demand Revolution" Movement representatives and Deputy Head of the Yerevan Police Valery Osipyan had a heated argument, ArmInfo's correspondent reported from the scene.
The activists tried to approach the president's residence and came across a big group of police officers. Osipyan and Susanna Markaryan, a Karabakh War Veteran, had a heated argument. Osipyan said that the action is not sanctioned. After heated debate, the activists agreed to cross the street and continue the action on the opposite pavement, where another group of activists is protesting against the accumulative pension system.
Leader of the Union for National Self-Determination Party Paruyr Hayrikyan also participates in the action. The number of the activists has already exceeded 200. They demand a meeting with the president or his representative. After the negotiations with the Police, Susanna Margaryan was invited to the residence of the Armenian President to introduce the demands of the activists.
