Revolution is not an end in itself for us but a way to sober the regime, member of the Karabakh Committee Ashot Manucharyan said during an opposition rally in Yerevan on Thursday.
"Each revolution causes chaos and fight for power. We don't need this. But threat of revolution may force the regime to start respecting us. It is important that they no longer feel themselves non-punishable when adopting unpopular decisions. We must force them to respect our opinion. This is our goal," Manucharyan said.
A group of Nagorno-Karabakh war veterans said that the ruling party must admit that Armenia is facing a serious crisis and must stop claiming that all existing problems are insignificant.
They believe that the key reason why the number of protesters is not growing is that people are being intimidated. "They are afraid of losing their jobs. But until they come together, this anarchy will continue," the protesters said.
