Azerbaijan has overestimated the capacities of its army, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told journalists on Wednesday.
"We have already prevented over 20 Azeri raids but they keep acting in the same way even though they see that all of their actions are doomed to failure. Unfortunately, we have also lost men and I would like to express my deep condolences to the families of the killed heroes," Ohanyan said.
He noted that the Azeri authorities do not care for the lives of their soldiers, so, it is they who are responsible for deaths on both sides.
"In their attempt to mislead their people that their army is invincible, the Azeri authorities have led themselves into a deadlock. We have lost six people while they have lost eight-nine times as many. They in Azerbaijan are disseminating a brochure called 'Three-Day War.' I would call it 'Three Tons of Wool Pulled Over Own People's Eyes. This is exactly what Azerbaijan's military-political leaders are doing for the moment," Ohanyan said.
