Two activists of the "Let's pay 100 drams" movement detained by the Police, will stay in the police station for three hours. They will be fined for damaging of the public property and then freed, deputy chief of the Armenian police, Valeriy Osipyan, told journalists.
To note, earlier activists disseminated a statement saying that four activists of the "Let's pay 100 drams" movement were detained and taken to central department of the Yerevan Police.
An activist, Tehmnine Enokyan, wrote at her Facebook page that "The Police have illegally detained Vahe Gevorkyan, Vahag Minasyan, Gor Arakelyan and Sevak Mamyan without any legal ground", - she said.
She also added that these young men were detained after holding of a protest action against the paid parking. "In particular, they encircled with red paint all the territories of the paid parking and were detained in 15 minutes. We phoned Sevak to clarify the situation, but policemen took away his telephone and did not allow to continue the talk", - Enokyan said.
