The European Union has not lost its interest in further development of cooperation with Armenia, Ambassador of France to Armenia, Henri Reynaud, said at today's press-conference in Yerevan.
He also added that significant progress in the bilateral cooperation has been registered within the frames of the "Eastern Partnership" programme. The Ambassador said that despite Armenia's decision to join the Customs Union, the EU continues supporting Armenia, including showing of the financial aid as well as the consulting assistance. In this context, he is confident that Armenia is an exclusive case. The European Union remains committed to the points of the Vilnius Declaration which supposes further development of relations with Armenia taking into consideration Yerevan's intention to join the Customs Union, the ambassador said.
