In a few months Armenian people will mark the 100th mourning anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the crime against humanity, which unfortunately has not been properly condemned so far, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said during his visit to Vatican, the President's press service reports.
In the meantime, Serzh Sargsyan stressed that the Genocide will sooner or later be unambiguously assessed. "There is no alternative to that. The truth is that there can be no peace or safe future without condemnation of the crimes committed in the past. We should use our faith to achieve dialogue and tolerance in all corners of the world. I hope the religious solidarity and tolerance will become prevailing and faith, hope and charity will help us to protect our values and justice", he said.
