The authorities of Armenia have failed to solve the country's problems, Armen Martirosyan, Deputy Head of Heritage Party, said at today's rally of the opposition forces. "They have ignored the proposals of the other political forces. We have consolidated around the idea of changing the power and taking the country out of the socio-economic crisis. We urge all the public and political forces, which are against the authorities' actions, to join us", he said.    

MP from the Armenian National Congress Aram Manukyan, in turn, presented some figures which should make the people "drive the authorities away". For instance, according to the International Organization for Migration, 770 thsd migrants left Armenia for 45 countries in 2014. "This figure does not include illegal migrants. Moreover, 400 thsd people became citizens of other countries. Marriages dropped and divorces rose in number. Over the past 24 years the natural increase was 1.1 mln only. In the meantime, in neighboring Turkey and Iran over 1 mln people were born in 2013 alone. Armenia is dying off due to the stupid and idiotic policy of the authorities", he said. 

He added that the reduction in investments made up 62% over year. "Nobody wants to feed Sashik Sargsyan. Armenia is getting old, it is becoming extinct. Just fancy! 83% of the population say that they have relatives abroad. It is a disaster! It cannot go on this way. The country needs immediate shift in power.  Armenia should be without Serzh Sargsyan", said Manukyan. 

Following Manukyan's speech, people started chanting "Serzhik, go away!"
