The parliamentary opposition - Prosperous Armenia, Heritage and Armenian National Congress - have started their joint rally in Yerevan's Liberty Square.
The leaders of Prosperous Armenia and Armenian National Congress Gagik Tsarukyan and Levon Ter-Petrosyan are already in the square. The leader of Heritage Raffi Hovannisian has not yet come.
ArmInfo's correspondent reports that the square is already full but people continue to arrive.
At some point two groups of Prosperous Armenia and Armenian National Congress supporters clashed because each group saw its leader as the next President.
Earlier in the day Prosperous Armenia said that the authorities were preventing people from the country from entering Yerevan. The central streets are being patrolled by the police.
