While speaking at the ongoing session of the
Collective Security Treaty Organization, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan
confirmed his support for Russia's position on the Syrian problem.
ITAR-TASS quotes Sargsyan as saying that as a country
that is located very close to Syria and has a big community in that country,
Armenia is better aware of the risks this problem may have for the
Caucasus.
"From the very first days of the conflict we have
said that it must be resolved peacefully through a nationwide dialogue. In this
light, we welcome the U.S.-Russian agreements on Syria," Sargsyan said.
