Tbilisi. On Thursday, April 18, Prime Minister of Georgia
Bidzina Ivanishvili met in Tbilisi with German diplomat, UN former Special
Representative to Georgia Dieter Boden,
the premier's press-service reports.
"At the meeting Bidzina Ivanishvili
and Dieter Boden considered current events in Georgia. They have been acquainted for a long time and
the meeting was held in the friendly atmosphere", the premier's press-service'
official noted.
Dieter Boden met with Ivanishvili during
the visit to Georgia in January 2012, at that time Ivanishvili was in the
opposition.
Dieter Boden is former Special
Representative of the UN Secretary General on the Georgian- Abkhaz Conflict
(1999-2001) and Former Head of the OSCE Special Mission in Georgia (1995-1996)/
Boden also headed the German Consulate
in St. Petersburg, he held a post of the German Ambassador to OSCE. At the present time he represents Robert
Bosch Foundation, which aims its activity at promotion and elaboration of programs, contests, support to pilot
projects in the sphere of public researches, health care, humanitarian
assistance, education, strengthening of mutual understanding between peoples as
well as youth affairs and the civil society.
