Economist Tatoul Manaseryan is convinced that the top power branches have a great number of caterpillars. Manaseryan told reporters on May 23 that the "personnel policy of the Government has serious flaws".
He said that during numerous international conferences the representatives of the Armenian delegation is very passive. "The personnel policy has serious flaws. It is necessary to get rid of the dead wood and to replace it with young and promising people," the expert said. In this light, he noted that the Armenian Government should control the feasibility of all trips.
As regards the Government's fight against corruption, the economist pointed out that any fight against corruption should use punitive measures. "The given resource is available in the Government's arsenal and it can be effectively used if needed," the expert said. At the same time, Manaseryan noted that the talk about the anti-corruption fight can be effective only if it ensures active involvement of experts and the civil society.
