We are doing our best to bring Hakob Injighulyan back from Azeri capture, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told journalists on Wednesday.
He said that the key problem is that Armenia has no direct contacts with Azerbaijan. "But there still are chances to solve this problem with the help of international organizations," Ohanyan said.
He said that if brought back, Injighulyan will not be prosecuted.
"None of Armenian servicemen captured by Azeris so far has been subjected to criminal prosecution," the DM said.
Armenian serviceman Hakob Injighulyan got lost on the Armenian-Azeri border and was captured by Azeris on Aug 7-8 night.
