Turkey continues its intensive efforts to involve in the Karabakh conflict's resolution.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told reporters that he discussed the Karabakh issue with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during the president's latest visit to Ankara. He said that on the eve of the meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in Vienna on 18 November he dwelled upon the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh with Secretary of State John Kerry. Davutoglu said that together with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Erdogan they are going to travel to Moscow to meet with President Putin over the situation in the Caucasus, including the Karabakh issue. The minister said that everyone is interested in sooner resolution of the conflict, Turkish media said.
As for the Armenian-Turkish agenda, Davutoglyu said Ankara strives to normalize the relations with Yerevan. He is sure that peace will come to the South Caucasus as soon as Armenia and Azerbaijan settle their problems. And Turkey is ready to take all the necessary steps to this end, Davuitoglu told reporters.
