According to the statement of the opposition three, the authorities of Armenia have fulfilled none of the 12 points of the demands of the opposition three and the growing worsening of the social and economic situation in the country is evidence of that. The worsening is fixed in the reports and forecasts of the National Statistics Service and International Monetary Fund.
Although the turnover tax for small and medium-sized business has been reduced from 3,5% to 1%, but at the same time a requirement has been introduced on obligatory inventory accounting of procurements. In the conditions of monopoly and big share of the shadow economy, this will in fact liquidate SME. The problems of the tax policy as well as mandatory pension system, "red lines" at the streets of Yerevan, the sale of the Vorotan Cascade power plant and "Nairit" plant have not been resolved yet either.
The three also criticized the authorities for the growth of the electric power tariff by 40% as well as for unwillingness to reform Electoral Code. The authorities did not give a strict answer if the Customs checkpoint will be opened at the border between Armenia and Karabakh in case of Armenia's joining Eurasian Economic Union, or not.
'We can note that Armenian authorities have fully ignored all 12 points. Such a reaction of the authorities is evidence of the fact that the political leadership is not ready to have a dialogue with the society. The ruling regime has exhausted itself and we must not link the prospect of development of the country with it", - the joint statement by Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia Party and Heritage party reads.
