AMD's depreciation will not prevent
the Armenian Government from fulfilling next year's budget, MP Gagik Minasyan
told journalists on Friday.
"We are not planning any revisions in the
budget," Minasyans said.
He said that the key factors that pushed AMD down were
growing USD and dropping RUR and oil prices. "But we must be sensible and
must stop panicking. We must refrain from injudicious actions that can have
serious consequences for the market," Minasyan said, noting that the
current growth in prices has no grounds and comes from the wish of some
businessmen to earn more money.
Armenia's national budget 2015 envisages 114bln AMD
deficit or 2.34% of GDP, 4.1% GDP growth, 4% (+1,5%) inflation, 3.3% GDP
deflator, 1.191tln AMD revenues (including 1.138tln AMD tax revenues), 1.305tln
AMD expenses and 411 AMD/1 USD exchange rate.
