Stephanie Topalian, a Japanese singer of Armenian descent has become the 4th member of the band "Genealogy" to represent Armenia at Eurovision-2015.
The young singer was born in Los Angeles (California, USA). Her father was Armenian and the mother - Japanese. Stephanie started singing at the age of 13. Some time later she received the "Japan Records " as the Best New Artist. Stephanie is currently residing in Japan. In 2007 Stephanie released two albums: some of her songs later became soundtracks for the Anime "Kiss Dum" and "D. Gray-man". She has also tried herself as an actress and has starred in the movies "Pride" and "It's All Good".
Besides Stephanie French singer Essai Altunyan, Tamar Karapetyan from the USA and Vahe Tilbian from Ethiopia will perform as members of the band "Genealogy". The name of the fifth member of the band will be announced on March 3. Young performers of Armenian descent from 5 continents will form the band (Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Australia), as well as from Armenia. "Genealogy" will perform the song "Don't Deny".
The finals of Eurovision-2015 will take place in Vienna on May 23. Armenia will participate in the first semi- finals of the competition on May 19.
