The Collective Security Treaty Organization will meet its obligations to Armenia if need be, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan told ArmInfo's correspondent during his visit to Lori region.
He does not agree with NATO that the Collective Security Treaty Organization is silent. "Armenia is their member and they will meet their obligations if need be," Abrahamyan said.
Concerning Russia's silence, he said that it is not silent. "Who then has organized the meeting of the Armenian and Azeri presidents in Sochi?" the Premier said.
He does not expect a new war in Nagorno-Karabakh. "Tensions have become lower over the last days," he said.
According to Abrahamyan, Azerbaijan has realized that he will not be able to solve the Nagorno-Karabakh problem by means of force. "We have a strong army, which can protect us. We are not afraid of war but we want peace, we want the conflict to be resolved peacefully," the Premier said.
