Hrachya Harutyunyan has come out of depression, Armenia's Human Rights Defender Karen Andreasyan told journalists on Tuesday.
"Harutyunyan was seriously injured in the accident, but he is already recovering. But the most important thing is that he has overcome his depression," Andreasyan said.
He said that it will take time to find out who is to blame for Harutyunyan's appearing in court in a housecoat and slippers.
As regards Harutyunyan's extradition, Andreasyan said that it will be possible only after the court's verdict is announced.
He said that now Harutyunyan has four lawyers, one of them being well- known Russian lawyer Ruben Margaryan.
To remind, a Kamaz driven by Harutyunyan collided with a passenger bus on July 13. As a result, 18 of the 64 bus passengers were killed. If found guilty, Harutyunyan may face seven years in jail.
