The House of Representatives of the
National Assembly of Belarus has ratified the agreement on Armenia's accession
to the Eurasian Economic Union, reports BELTA.
The agreement was signed by the presidents of Belarus,
Russia, Kazakhstan and Armenia on Oct 10 2014.
"Today is a historic day. We have reconfirmed our
commitment to develop. Once the agreement is ratified, we will become full
members to the Union and this implies great opportunities," Ambassador of
Armenia to Belarus Armen Khachatryan told journalists on Friday. He noted that
Armenia can supply its partners with high-technology services, vegetables,
fruits. "We have excellent brandy, excellent mineral water. We have lots of things to offer,"
Khachatryan said.

Mikhnevich said that Russia have already ratified the agreement while
Kazakhstan is completing this procedure.
