Armenian Olympic Delegation is ready to participate in the Baku 2015 First European Games, President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan said in a joint press conference with President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach.
"Armenia is committed to the Olympic slogan 'Sports without Borders.' The neighbor-states should settle their problems though peace efforts, Armenia's team is ready to leave for Baku, if Azerbaijan guarantees the security of the Armenian sportspersons," Tsarukyan said. Olympic Committee in Rome, it was decided to hold the first ever European Games. The Assembly was attended by 49 National Olympic Committees. Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, has been awarded the rights to host the inaugural European Games in 2015. The event will bring together 7500 people from 49 European countries, including 5000 sportspersons.
