National Revival party in Artsakh condemned defeatist and conformist statements made by Deputy Speaker of Armenian parliament Hermine Naghdalyan related to territorial concessions in case of international recognition of Artsakh. The Party considers that such statements humiliate the dignity of Artsakh people and lead to growth of Azerbaijan's aggressive provocations. "Defeatist and conformist statements are a stab in the back of the soldier who protects the border, Artsakh people and investment programs in not fully inhabited regions. These statements are a display of disrespect to the memory of those soldiers who gave their lives for the liberation and protection of their homeland", the statement of the party reads. Its authors also emphasized that Naghdalyan's further holding of the position of deputy speaker of the Armenian parliament contradicts to national interests of Artsakh and all Armenians. To note, the National Revival Party is represented in the Artsakh parliament by Revival faction. To note, on April 26 Deputy Speaker of Armenian parliament Hermine Naghdalyan told journalists that holding second referendum on independence of Nagorno-Karabakh is inadmissible for the Armenian side. Naghdalyan recalled that in 1991 a referendum on independence was held in Artsakh in line with international principles. "Nagorno-Karabakh self- determined on the same basis as the other post-soviet republics", the Deputy Speaker stated. At the same time Naghdalyan said that "as soon as the world recognizes Artsakh we will return the lands we have no rights to, we do not want these lands they are the buffer zone guarantee of our security", Naghdalyan stated.
