An Armenian serviceman, Hakop Ijigylyan, that lost his way and fell prisoner to the Azerbaijani party, had an interview with ANS TV channel.
He told ANS TV channel that in 7 August the commander forced him to carry water, but he refused to fulfill the order.
"The commander gave instruction to go to fetch water in the late afternoon. I said that I was very tired and will bring later. He said, "Who are you not to fulfill my orders. He hit me in the eye with his foot. A fight broke out between us. Therefore, I was obliged to pass the border to Azerbaijan," - Ijigulyan added.
To note, Ijigulyan fell prisoner on the night of the 7th/ 8th August. According to the Armenian party, he lost his way at the border and fell prisoner. Representatives of the ICRC Baku Office has not yet met Ijigulyan.
