VTB Bank (Armenia) and MasterCard have launched a new campaign to stimulate noncash card transactions, CEO of VTB Bank (Armenia) Yuri Gusev told journalists on Friday.
He said that the campaign is called At the Wheel with VTB and is meant for all holders of Cirrus/Maestro, MasterCard Standard and MasterCard Gold cards. For each noncash 1,000 AMD transaction at the bank's outlet they will get 2 bonus points, for each 1,000 AMD transaction at other banks' outlets and abroad they will get 1 points. The maximum score per transaction is 50 points.
Those who will score the most will take part in a draw of 100 prizes: 50 certificates for a –1% credit and 50 certificates for a +1% deposit.
The main prize will be Peugeot 107 AT. The campaign will last from Apr 15 till June 30 2014.
"The goal of the campaign is to show our customers the advantages of MasterCards both in Armenia and abroad and to stimulate their use. Such campaigns raise customers' confidence in cards as a reliable, comfortable and safe means to pay for goods and services," Gusev said.
The spokesmodel of the campaign was Lusine Tovmasyan, a model and actress, winner of the Miss Armenia 2003 Contest.
