Lawrence Meredith.As the Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo, the interlocutors touched upon the results of the recent visit of the RA Prime Minister to Brussels and noted with satisfaction that recent high-level contacts and close reciprocal visits testify to the high level of Armenia-EU partnership.The Foreign Minister stressed the importance of consistent development and cooperation with the EU in the framework of the implementation of the reform program, and the EU official, in turn, confirmed his readiness to ensure their continuity.
The sides discussed sectoral cooperation between Armenia and the EU, in particular, the prospects for Armenia's digital agenda and preparations for the 23rd World IT Forum, which will be held in Yerevan this October.The interlocutors also touched upon the draft roadmap for the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership between Armenia and the EU (CEPA) and the organization of consultations on this document between the government and civil society.The Armenian Foreign Minister and the EU delegation also exchanged views on the programs for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership and on the events to be organized by Armenia to mark this anniversary.
