ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed confidence that the upcoming elections in Artsakh in 2020 will be held in accordance with international norms.
Answering the question about whether he interferes in the internal affairs of Artsakh and in the issues of domestic policy, he noted: "There is a partnership and constructive relationship between Armenia and Artsakh."
At the same time, Pashinyan again stressed that he does not have the legitimate right to represent Artsakh at the negotiating table on the Karabakh settlement.
Pashinyan noted that, if necessary, he is ready to consult on the Karabakh issue with the ex-presidents of Armenia and other former officials. Speaking about the challenges to Armenia, Pashinyan said that the biggest challenge is the unconditional absorption by the Armenian society and the media of any Azerbaijani disinformation: "And this despite the fact that there has never been such transparency in the Karabakh process as I did before." Pashinyan also found it useful to foster dialogue in social networks between representatives of the societies of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Artsakh. "The leadership of the countries goes to a dialogue, we don't swear at meetings, we don't throw mud at each other. Pashinyan stated.
