ArmInfo.I have repeatedly stated that even if my brother breaks the law, he will be prosecuted. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this on March 19.
He noted that what happened at the State Control Service was very clear evidence that he was not going to put up with any corrupt activity. "Nothing will make me reconcile with corruption. In this case, a preliminary investigation is now being conducted, and I believe that now we must not violate the presumption of innocence of these people. But such situations may arise," the prime minister said.
Pashinyan said that the only responsibility that lies on him is responsibility to the people of Armenia. "I was elected prime minister, and I don't owe this to anyone except our people. Therefore, I don't have an obligation to any organization, either in Armenia or abroad. I'm obliged to our people to rightly rule and implement all my duties under the Constitution ", the prime minister said.
To note, inspections in the State Control Service began after the statement of Health care Minister Arsen Torosyan, who had seen the "suspicious manifestations" in the work of the State Control Service. This, in particular, is about the tender for the purchase of hemodialysis equipment for medical institutions, to which some of the staff of the Service have shown direct interest. Three people were detained.
