ArmInfo. On March 18, Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Suren Papikyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Armenia Tian Erlong.
After welcoming the Ambassador, the Minister noted that the Armenian-Chinese trades, economic and intercultural relations with a long history in practice have great potential for development. At the same time, the Minister stressed the need to fill them with new content and components.
Papikyan also noted that the friendly relations between the provinces of Armenia and China are gradually having a positive impact on the expansion of the interstate agenda.
The Chinese Ambassador thanked the Minister for the reception and noted that the Ministry plays a key role in the dynamic development of the Armenian-Chinese relations.
According to the Ambassador, the Armenian-Chinese decentralized multilateral cooperation at the interregional level is one of the priorities of the Chinese government.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the deepening of administrative and territorial cooperation, the intensification of bilateral economic relations, the implementation of infrastructure projects by Chinese companies in Armenia.
