ArmInfo. On 15 March, consultations were held at the Foreign Ministry of Armenia between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Belarus on a common European theme. Armenian Foreign Ministry delegation headed Acting Head of Europe Department Tigran Samvelyan, and Belarussian delegation -Head of the Directorate-General for Europe and Northern America, Andrei Bushilo.
As reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, during the consultations the parties discussed the bilateral, political and economic agendas of Armenia-EU and Belarus-EU, in particular, both signed and still negotiating agreements with the EU. They touched statistics of foreign trade turnover. The interlocutors also discussed the schedule of events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership of the EU, exchanged views on the activities planned in Armenia and Belarus within the framework of the Eastern Partnership. Then the parties touched upon the Armenian-Belarusian cooperation within the framework of international organizations, especially the OSCE and the CoE. A number of regional issues were also discussed. After the consultations, the Belarusian side invited the Armenian side to Belarus to hold the next round of inter-agency consultations.
