ArmInfo. There is nothing new in the wording of the US State Department report on Nagorno-Karabak; these formulations were permanently repeated before. The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Anna Naghdalyan said this to the question of the ArmInfo correspondent, referring to the provisions of the State Department's report on Nagorno-Karabakh.
At the same time, she noted that the position of the United States, as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, on the Karabakh settlement is reflected in the coordinated approaches of the mediators. "As a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, the United States is making efforts for a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict," Naghdalyan said, once again stating that Armenia is ready to assist the mediators in resolving the conflict.
To recall, the US State Department Human Rights Report for 2018 states: "Separatists, with Armenia's support, continued to control most of NagornoKarabakh and seven surrounding Azerbaijani territories." The report also notes that the final status of Artsakh remains the subject of discussion within the framework of the international mediation mandate of the OSCE Minsk Group.
