ArmInfo. Optimization of the state apparatus is carried out because many structures in the government, in fact, perform the same functions, which reduces the efficiency of the entire state apparatus. On March 14, during a meeting with the co-rapporteurs of the PACE Monitoring Commission in Armenia, head of the standing parliamentary commission on state and legal issues, a deputy from the My Step bloc Vladimir Vardanyan, said.
He noted that it was this fact that eventually forced the Armenian government to start work on optimizing the state apparatus, and to carry out reforms aimed at creating a more efficient structure of the Cabinet. The deputy also said that this is a very time-consuming process, which requires in-depth consideration.
During the meeting, the sides discussed anti-corruption reforms taking place in Armenia, as well as questions on the concept of the new Criminal Code. According to the head of the commission Vladimir Vardanyan, these issues are high on the agenda of the National Assembly of Armenia.
