ArmInfo. At the March 14 meeting, the Armenian government made changes to its decision aimed at bringing it into line with the law on state pensions.
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Gemafin Gasparyan, who submitted the project, stressed that the decision of the executive body provided an opportunity for another person to receive a pension with a power of attorney from a person recognized as disabled as a result of injury during military operations while protecting the borders of Armenia. In addition, the work experience of a citizen of a country in international organizations is recognized as a work experience if a pension payment is made to the state budget of the country.
It has been recognized as invalid the provision according to which, if the pension was not received for five years, this right was suspended.
The procedure for calculating the length of military service has also been clarified. In particular, if the term of military service is up to six months (180 days), the length of military pension is not fixed, and over six months is considered one-year length of service. It will not be necessary to submit references, since this issue is regulated thanks to the existing database.
