ArmInfo. From 9 to 17 March 2019, under the auspices of the Prime Minister of Armenia, for the first time an international summit of the European Youth Parliament will be held in Yerevan.About 300 young people from 40 European countries will attend the summit.
"Yerevan- 2019" is the largest international youth summit that has ever been held in Armenia. At the summit, the young people will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, EU ambassadors and other high- ranking officials.Executive Director of the European Youth Parliament, Lukas Fendel, noted that this summit is an excellent opportunity for young people in Europe to familiarize themselves with Armenia.
The summit will be held under the title "Overcoming global challenges together", students from leading European educational institutions come to Armenia to discuss this issue in the relevant commissions. After discussion, the proposed resolutions will be submitted to the European Youth Parliament office in Berlin, as well as relevant public and private bodies.In addition to participating in discussions, the guests will get acquainted with Armenian culture and historical heritage, as well as exchange experience with Armenian delegates in order to develop their skills in cultural communication.
