ArmInfo. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian met in Germany with Chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Wolfgang Ischinger. According to the President's Office of Armenia, at the meeting, Armen Sarkissian noted that from year to year the Conference becomes more and more representative, and the tasks under discussion reflect the contemporary challenges to international security.
President Sarkissian noted Ambassador Ischinger's contribution to the formation of the Conference as an internationally influential platform. An exchange of views on possible ways of cooperation took place. Armen Sarkissian invited Ischinger to take part in the Summit of Minds, which will be held in Armenia for the first time in June this year.
Earlier, ArmInfo, citing the presidential press service, reported that the event called the Armenian Summit of Minds will be held June 7-9 in Yerevan and Dilijan. The summit is an authoritative event, in which more than 300 famous and influential political figures, scientists, business investors, as well as heads of major companies and media from all over the world take part. The main purpose of the event is to present new ideas on the most important issues of global importance, as well as to establish trusting partnerships through direct discussions. Armenia is the first country to organize a summit outside of Chamonix. The main topic of discussion at the Armenian Summit of Minds will be "Regional geopolitics, economics and investment: the impact of multipolarity on trade and investment flows."
