According to the report of the Special Investigation Service of Armenia, as a result of the preliminary investigation of the criminal case against former member of parliament, former chairman of the "Yerkrapah" Union of Volunteers Manvel Grigoryan and his wife Nazik Amiryan numerous investigative and other procedural actions other than the crimes identified in the past SIS of Armenia disclosed cases of tax evasion, on a particularly large scale, embezzlement of public funds and cases of appropriation of property in large x sizes.
In this regard, Grigoryan was charged with new charges under Section 2 of Article 235 of the RA Criminal Code, under paragraph 1 of Part 3 of Article 179, under Part 2 of Article 38-205, under Section 2 of Article 205, on clause 1 of part 3 of article 179, on clause 2 on part 3 Articles 38-182.
According to the SIS report, by prior arrangement with his wife Nazik Amirian, son Arman Grigoryan and others, they illegally acquired and transported them to three houses at 46 Alaverdyan Street, Echmiadzin, recreation center <Rest House 28> on Lchapnya 28 and 30 and in mansion in the village of Arshaluys, Armavir region weapons and ammunition.
In the mansion of General Manvel Grigoryan, located in <Ara Ler>, the Artsakh Ministry of Defense also found firearms, ammunition, weapons, grenade launchers, explosives.
Thus, Manvel Grigoryan, using his position and with the support of his wife and son, appropriated property in the amount of 101.232.917 drams, evaded paying taxes in the amount of 1.228.176.342 drams, from paying taxes in the amount of 102.408.095 drams, squandered state property in the amount of 1.225.003.300 drams, seized property worth 37.101.100 drams by extortion.
