ArmInfo. The ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party criticized the program of the Armenian government.
The party's statement, in particular, reads that with a view to restructuring the government went on unjustified suspension of the activities of a number of ministries. "Despite the approaches and commitments voiced by the authorities, the government's program is not aimed at reforming the political system, in particular, ensuring democracy, freedom of speech and the media, improving the electoral system, eliminating super-premiership," the ARF said in a statement.
The party believes that, on the one hand, the promised reforms were ignored, and on the other hand, an attempt is being made to replace the government by the prime minister, over-centralizing the powers of the collegial governing body in one hand, which could jeopardize the prospects for the country's democratic development.
"The program does not sufficiently address issues of ensuring national security, including the mechanisms for guaranteeing the military-political security of the Artsakh Republic. There are gaps in the cultural and educational sectors of the country, as well as in the field of relations with the Diaspora and scientific development.
Passive socio-economic policy, derived from neoliberal ideology, contrary to a social market economy, established by the Constitution cannot provide the necessary economic development and social justice in Armenia.
Ignoring the issues of distribution of the national product and social justice will increase public polarization, deepen the gap between the rich and the poor, jeopardizing social solidarity.
Despite the fact that the government has set itself the goal of "economic revolution", the program does not answer the question of what it means by this definition, and how this "revolution" will be implemented, what its results will be.
Registered in the program, the expected 5% y-o-y growth of the economy is insufficient to consider economic policy implemented by the government as revolutionary. The program was designed to avoid responsibility and public accountability, despite repeated allegations of ruling power.
The program lacks specific goals, objectives and deadlines for improving the quality of public life. The program contains many internal contradictions, "the statement reads.
The party also argues that the government program does not provide sufficient prerequisites for the implementation of the vital principle "to develop without concessions", and assesses it as inadequate to the challenges of time.
