ArmInfo. Armenia is interested in cooperation with the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Company and the possibilities of deploying its activities in the country. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced this on January 22 in Davos during a meeting with a member of the Board of Directors of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Company Christina Ahmadjian.
According to the press service of the RA government, during the meeting Nikol Pashinyan informed the authorities about the intentions to move from the political revolution to the realization of the economic revolution. To this end, the head of the Armenian government continued, large and real changes are planned in the economic sector. Nikol Pashinyan stressed that there is great potential in technological development in Armenia, and from this point of view, cooperation with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries can become promising.
Christina Ahmadjian stressed the importance of the company's involvement in new investment programs in Armenia. She declared readiness to assist in establishing ties between Armenia and various Japanese companies. The representative of "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries" stressed that she intends to visit Armenia in the near future in order to explore opportunities for cooperation.
To note, the "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries" Japanese company is included in the Mitsubishi Group. It appeared in 1934 as a result of the merger of the Mitsubishi aircraft building and shipbuilding branches. The company is engaged in the manufacture of aerospace systems, the construction of ships, energy systems and car batteries, turbo compressors, cars, forklifts, tanks, wind turbines.
