ArmInfo. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko received in Minsk credentials of ambassadors of ten states, including Armenia - Armen Ghevondyan.
Accepting the newly appointed Armenian ambassador, Lukashenko touched on the topic of bilateral relations between Armenia and Belarus.
"We are aimed at expanding the trade and economic component of the Belarusian-Armenian relations and are ready to participate in any projects, including in Armenia, which will interest our Armenian friends and brothers," the Belarus Today publication quotes the President of Belarus.
Alexander Lukashenko also noted that Armenia was and remains for Belarus a reliable partner with which it cooperates in the Eurasian Economic Union and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
