ArmInfo. The delegation of the Armenian Police, headed by the Chief of the law enforcement agency Valery Osipyan made an official visit to Georgia from December 17-19.
According to the information of the press service of the Police of Armenia, on December 18, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia received the Armenian delegation. The tete-a-tete conversation was followed by an extended meeting of representatives of law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
The head of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs assured that the Georgian side is doing everything possible to ensure efficient cooperation between the law enforcement officers of Armenia and Georgia. He confirmed his readiness to further strengthen and deepen the existing interaction.
The Chief of the RA Police Valery Osipyan thanked the Georgian counterparts for the warm welcome and stressed that crime has no nationality and does not know state borders. In this context, he said, only by joint efforts can we confront modern challenges and meet the expectations of citizens.
