ArmInfo. Head of National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan condemns any encroachment on freedom of speech and media. He said this in an interview with reporters, answering the question about how he relates to the "frequent visits of police officers to the editorial offices of a number of media outlets."
"I am very, very negative about any steps that may restrict freedom of speech and the media. I am in favor of full observance of these rights. Evidence of my words is the publicity of my work and the work of the National Security Service as a whole. Have you ever seen openly so that the head of the structure would give press conferences, hold retreats with media representatives, and answer their questions about or without. The only thing that bothers me is when they write lies about me>, said Vanetsyan in an open mind, while assuring that always and in any situation ready to defend the media and freedom of speech.
