ArmInfo. In the coming days, extra-parliamentary forces of Armenia will take the initiative to form a new bloc. The head of the Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan said this on December 12 at a meeting with journalists.
Sargsyan, in particular, said that a number of parties are already negotiating among themselves. "If the authorities want, we will help them, otherwise we will become an opposition, taking into account the fact that the newly elected parliament has no opposition," said Sargsyan.
Answering the question about which forces will join the bloc, Sargsyan said that there is an agreement between the parties that each political force will make a statement separately. Thus, according to him, the leader of the "National Self-Determination" association, Paruyr Hayrikyan, has already made a corresponding statement. "There are 2 more forces in the initiative group. Later, several more will join them," Sargsyan assured.
