ArmInfo.Today, extraordinary parliamentary elections are being held in Armenia, in which 9 parties and 2 blocs participate. The number of voters, according to the Central Election Commission, is 2,575,939 people.
Today, starting from 8:00 am, more than 2,000 polling stations have opened across the country, and voting will end at 8:00 pm. Election will be observed by 8 international and 22 local organizations. Besides local media 32 foreign media will cover elections.
According to the "GALLUP International association" poll for the Armenian parliamentary elections, the ruling "My Step" bloc with 69.4% of votes is the absolute favorite in the election race. The ruling bloc, as in the past, is followed by the party "Prosperous Armenia" with 5.7% votes. 3.8% of voters are ready to cast votes for the "Enlightened Armenia" party. This is followed by "Sasna Tsrer" with 1.4%, the Republican Party -1.5%, ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" - 1.2%, "We" bloc -0.8%, "Orinats Yerkir" -0.4%, . Following the OE, the party "Citizen's Decision" is to get- 0.3%, the "National Progress" party -0.1%. "Christian-Revival" is forecasted to get 0% rating. 8.7% of respondents refused to answer questions, 7% found it difficult to answer.
According to the survey, 75.5% of the respondents will participate in the elections, 14.6% are more likely to participate, 2.7% are more likely not to participate, but 5.7% definitely do not intend to participate. The polling error is 3%.
