The former head of the Social Security Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Hovhannes Sahakyan, refutes the information spread in the media that prior to his resignation he distributed to employees a bonus of 50 million drams, and that this fact beccame known to law enforcement officers.
As Hovhannes Sahakyan told ArmInfo correspondent, this information is not true. "Yes, the Financial and Budgetary Control Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance of Armenia really carried out inspections in the department, however these facts were revealed from 2014 to 2016, that is, before my appointment as head of the Social Security Service. I was appointed to this position on August 9, 2017," Sahakyan explained.
