ArmInfo. Armenia raises the question not only about changes in the CSTO Charter, but also about changing the established practice in the organization. The RA Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this at a press conference.
Pashinyan again criticized the fact that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko revealed the details of the closed meeting of the CSTO heads to the Ambassador of the country, not only a non-member of the organization, but also at war with one of the member states.
Pashinyan also considered the Minsk and Baku arms deals unacceptable. "This is a well-established practice that is not acceptable within the CSTO, and it is subject to change. We will raise the issue of changing the organization's charter if we understand that the root of the problems rests on it. But we, first of all, should clarify our relations with partners. But it turns out that the CSTO member state is arming another country, which is not a member of an organization that is at war with a member state, threatening to attack its capital. What is it that our CSTO partner is helping a country hostile to us to conquer our capital? ", Pashinyan wondered.
According to him, if the former authorities of Armenia silently watched such a development of the situation, the current ones do not intend to put up with it: "We will demand explanations and get them." Referring to why the previous authorities were silent on this account, Pashinyan explained it this way: "They thought that if they started talking, their business in one country or another would suffer. But in Armenia, new forces came to power, which have no business do not intend to be silent ", - concluded the Acting premiere.
