ArmInfo.The Republican Party cannot compete with the Civil Contract Party or the ''My Step'' bloc. On November13 Acting Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan stated in an interview with journalists.

He noted that the RPA, as before the revolution, is still not in  control of the situation, and as it failed to be the ruling force, it  could also fail to be the opposition. At the same time, Avinyan  highly appreciated the possibilities of the My Step block in the  upcoming elections, refusing to indicate a specific percentage of  expected votes.

In turn, First Acting Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan called on  the RPA to take a political pause, since all the problems of Armenia  took root precisely during her rule.  T he MP from the "Yelk" bloc,  the head of the "Enlightened Armenia" party, Edmon Marukyan, again  expressed confidence that the RPA will not pass to the parliament.  Against this background, he very positively assessed the chances of  his party in the elections. "We hope that we will become the second  political force in the parliament," the deputy stressed.

In turn, the head of the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" faction Armen Rustamyan  noted that the party is discussing who will head its proportional  list. The MP positively assessed the chances of the party in the  elections.  "Dashnaktsutyu" has never turned from its path, the party  has its own concept and beliefs, we are sure that our voters value  this, "concluded Rustamyan.

In turn, Deputy President of the National Assembly, press secretary  of the Republican Party of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov stated that the  RPA has every chance to become the second political force in the  parliament, since only it is the true opposition.

To note the early parliamentary elections will be held on December 9,  2018. The pre-election campaign will start on November 26 and will  last until December 7. Parties and blocks must submit their  applications before 6:00 pm on November 14th.
