ArmInfo. The return of Armenian citizen Karen Ghazaryan to his homeland from Azerbaijani captivity continues to be on the agenda of the Foreign Ministry. The press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan stated this on November 13 at a press conference in Yerevan.
Thus, commenting on the trial against Ghazaryan, the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry noted that in Yerevan they expected that Baku would arrange this kind of staged show. "Attempts were made to make the show, to present Ghazaryan a " saboteur", but given the health problems of the citizen of Armenia, because of which the latter was released from military service, this show has been a fiasco, said Naghdalyan, adding that Baku is trying to put an equal sign between Ghazaryan and those who have committed serious crimes - Dilgham Askerov and Shahbaz Guliyev, who is serving a sentence in Artsakh. However, according to her, despite all this, appropriate work is under way to return Ghazaryan to his homeland.
To recall on November 6, a trial began on Azerbaijan over a citizen of Armenia, Karen Ghazaryan, who was captured this summer. Court takes place in Gyanja. Ghazaryan is accused of a crime against life and health, a crime in the field of economic activity, a crime against public safety, a crime against the foundations of the constitutional system and security of the state, a crime against management.
